I fought the lawn...

...and the lawn won.

Never had a stump do that to a lawn mower blade before.

Wife is taking it to an old farmer down the road a ways; if he has an anvil, he can heat up the blade & pound it straight. Otherwise, we can always get a new blade.

  1. Dang. I'd just use it as an excuse to buy a new lawnmower!! I HATE mowing the lawn. Of course, as we all know, I'm pretty much not liking anything these days. ;-)

Question - Where in the Southeast? I'm in Northern Virginia.

  2. Hi Sherm, glad to see you drop by! Yeah, I can't say it was original by any means. Stinkin' little stumps, hiding in the weeds. I'm not sure whether to take the go-devil or the chainsaw to the thing.

BTW, I'm adding links to any C&J'er blogs as they come by.

Comments are welcome, and they don't have to be complimentary. I delete spam on sight, but that's pretty much it for moderation. Long off-topic rants or unconstructive flamage are also candidates for deletion but I haven’t seen any of that so far.

I have comment moderation on for posts over a week old, but that’s so I’ll see them.
