Hey Far! I don't know what fish might think about the ripples that are created in the water above them.. However, I'm certain they see them, as they're usually on their way out of the area as this is a sure sign that a possible threat has impreganted their environment. Instinct?

Far, you do understand, that I have done this activity on the far edge of civilization... That is how I, even noticed it.....I had the time and could do the distance........
Pretty hard to even see it, if you're caught up in the middle of it... Sometimes these formations can only be viewed for what they are from a distance, otherwise, it might just seem to be a fog.......

O, I saw it and thought "I have to get a pic of this!" I pulled off to the side of the road at the first place there was a clear view to the north (which was a cemetery — if I'd thought about it, I'd have taken a portrait-mode shot with some of the gravesites at the bottom).

Yooper, I've been seeing the ripples for a while. Fortunately, none of Olivia's duck butts have been part of it. But you know, some fish go *to* the ripples, because it means there's a bug to eat up there. (Unless my dad is out there fly fishing… did I tell you he got to meet "Robert Traver" some years back? He has a photo of the man tying flies on his bench.)
BTW, Mrs. Fetched says those are called (around here, anyway) "woolen" clouds and the solid part often "has a little rain in it."
FAR, great photo! I've been so lazy with the camera lately, but it's been so cold and gray there's not much of interest out there most days, *sigh.*
And now I can't even go out after work because it's dark! Not adjusting well to the time change here, eh...
Thanks, IVG. I suppose you could take a few shots before you go into work, but that would involve getting up earlier and I'd never advise that!
