Vacation pix: Argh!

A seagull had perched itself on one of those “swim area” markers featured earlier. I go to take the shot, and…

Bird and babe

Someone has to walk right into the field of view. That’s my story, and I’m stickin’ to it.

Canon EOS 40D, 28-135mm IS/USM lens
135mm, f11, 1/320 sec

(BTW, that’s my nephew with the boogie board, back turned to us.)

  1. That's your story... okay. ;)

Reminded me of this photo I saw a lil while back.

  2. Hi Sherm, good to see you here again! I think that particular pic has gone viral… I've seen it in several places, but not with the NatGeo logo that I've noticed.

  3. The fact that she is a well-endowed blonde is pure coincidence I'm sure.

  4. Boran, her blonditude had nothing to do with it, I assure you!

  5. Hi Olivia! Really, it was an accident — I was trying to get the nephew & bird, and oops… my bro was pleased with the results anyway. :-)

  6. Hiya FAR,

Oh to be on a beach with a camera - snapping family pictures of course. :)

  7. FM, if my knee had been any better, I probably wouldn't have gotten the number of shots I did… I'd have been in the water with my bro & his kids! But it was still much enjoyment… babes or no. ;-)

Comments are welcome, and they don't have to be complimentary. I delete spam on sight, but that's pretty much it for moderation. Long off-topic rants or unconstructive flamage are also candidates for deletion but I haven’t seen any of that so far.

I have comment moderation on for posts over a week old, but that’s so I’ll see them.
