I suppose, the roosters will get the axe, in the early fall! ha!

It's been so cold up here and rainy, that poor ol'Kim has been justy sitting, oh, Arlene that's 'er down to the mailbox once in awhile. Got'er all fixed up! Even painted the fenders black, couldn't stand that cream color! Got the title to clear and have my sticker and registration, so she's all ready to go! She runs like a champ! Naturally, there were some things I had to find out about her likes and dislikes! ha! Can't wait to take her to work! ha! Especially when gas is quickly approaching $3.00 here. $2.80 something now.

Thanks, yooperyooperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11297259993402713368noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12954391.post-79163320520792216412009-06-04T23:20:38.192-04:002009-06-04T23:20:38.192-04:00Looks pretty good so far, Yooper! They won't grow as fast as they do in the Evil Place, but they'll be a pretty good size by August. Probably humongous come fall. Given the climate you guys have, I'd dress 'em out by October and pull 'em out of the freezer as needed through the winter.

I was wondering if you'd gotten Kim started and out on the roads yet?Larry Kollarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08317037795075278427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12954391.post-76498612465545676182009-06-04T21:32:30.871-04:002009-06-04T21:32:30.871-04:00Oh, oh,The Boy has an idea! ha!heh!

Of course, people will exploit long-dead divisions as long as it works (e.g., the Balkans).

It occurs to me this evening that, after a metric conversion, the term "gallon" might become a "metric gallon," i.e. 4 liters. It's easier to say & is probably as much as most people would see at one time…Larry Kollarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08317037795075278427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12954391.post-60830705208817022912009-06-01T20:06:06.135-04:002009-06-01T20:06:06.135-04:00Far, nice stuff :)

Let's hope it doesn't work out that way, though.Nudgehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01513472441473206482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12954391.post-84977295077349069192009-06-01T13:47:32.392-04:002009-06-01T13:47:32.392-04:00Hi Jenny, welcome to the free-range insane asylum!...Hi Jenny, welcome to the free-range insane asylum!

Thanks for pointing that out… but it was really a mistake on the speaker's part. Hard-core junta symps tend to use the old measurements as a protest… although after a few years they're starting to forget. Note how he said "kims" (kilometers) right before "gallon"?)Larry Kollarhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08317037795075278427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12954391.post-48631789901914090352009-06-01T09:08:40.215-04:002009-06-01T09:08:40.215-04:00Interesting episode.
