Everyone say hi to Mason, born today at 2:18 p.m.:
6 lb 13 oz, 21 inches, everyone’s tired but doing fine.
Yup, we all got a promotion. Mason has a great-great-grandmother, and I will definitely have to get everyone together for a 5-generation shot ASAP.
Now I’m going to go be stunned for a while…

Comments are welcome, and they don't have to be complimentary. I delete spam on sight, but that's pretty much it for moderation. Long off-topic rants or unconstructive flamage are also candidates for deletion but I haven’t seen any of that so far.
I have comment moderation on for posts over a week old, but that’s so I’ll see them.

Congrats to the Farfetched Clan for your newest addition! May he have a blessed life, surrounded by people who love him.
ReplyDeleteHappy for the slightly enlarged Farf family. Dote, spoil, and give back to parents; rinse and repeat for 20 years.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky fellow and such a handsome Granddad.
ReplyDeleteFarf, Big Cyberhugs to you and the Farf Clan.
Thanks for sharing your special day!!!
Oh my goodness -- congratulations to you all ... what a cutie!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Farf! Gorgeous pic of you and the wee one.
ReplyDeleteGreat name and gorgeous pictures. Congrats to all of you and a big happy welcome to the world for the new tiny person.
ReplyDeleteCongratulatios to you and the entire Far clan! Wonderful news! (Now your geezerhood is official!)
ReplyDeleteWooHoo! Congratulations Y'all! Spoil him rotten.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all of you! He'll be a real handful from time to time like they all are, no doubt, but what a wonderful ride these little guys and gals are.
ReplyDeleteAnd I speak from personal experience. The Bean is 4.5 months now and she's just itching to be more mobile so she doesn't have to depend on Mom or Dad to get her to where she wants to go. I suspect she gets her impatience from me...
;-D
Again, all the best, and I'll leave you with the wise words of my father, as uttered while bouncing my niece on his knee a few years ago...
"You know, these little ones are like God's way of apologizing for the aging process."
Hey all, and thanks much! I'm still a little overwhelmed by the concept. I especially love Gord's comment, not to mention Jim's advice. I just hope we don't end up raising him ourselves.
