Trick or treat’ers

Ready to scoop the candy! Yes, that’s Daughter Dearest with the wings.

So far, we haven’t had anyone come by tonight — what I expected, unfortunately.

  1. Hi FARfetched.

Since we don't have any kids in the house and it was only FMom and me, we turned off the lights last night. I have to admit, Halloween isn't my favorite holiday. Hate to sit around the house in the dark. :)

  2. I had a great time, I had 37 trick or treaters (yes I kept count) and Fred just sat right next to the door recieving pettings from all the kids, what a attention hog that cat is.

  3. Wow, Solar, I wish we'd had even 1/3 of that — now I’ve got a big ol’ bowl of candy to take to work with me. And yeah, that sounds like Fred all right. He probably would have let you put a costume on him.

FM, that's too bad. I like Hallowe'en because there's no pressure involved — if I do or don't want to do a costume, fine either way; getting a bag of candy is no big deal... it's the perfect slacker's holiday.

Comments are welcome, and they don't have to be complimentary. I delete spam on sight, but that's pretty much it for moderation. Long off-topic rants or unconstructive flamage are also candidates for deletion but I haven’t seen any of that so far.

I have comment moderation on for posts over a week old, but that’s so I’ll see them.
