Weekend Cinema

When it costs $40 to fill up a Civic, you know it’s time to forget about driving to a theater. Weekend Cinema brings you the entertaining, the offbeat… and above all, the brief.

Memorial Day is behind us. The presidential primaries are behind us, leaving us with a choice between a young charismatic black guy and some geezer backed by a massive character assassination apparatus. So… let’s put the gravitas behind us for a little while; plenty of time to be campaigning come fall and we could use a little light entertainment.

So thank Daughter Dearest for finding this and sharing it with us all. Watch two guys put on a very clever magic show.

  1. FAR, that certainly was special! hehe ... I suspect (highly) that this was Brit sketch humour? Those guys were a lot of fun though ... the beginning was nicely surreal, but the short leg dancing went on a bit long, IMO.

Still... thanks for the chuckles! We need 'em around here right now.

  2. Hiya FAR and IVG.

That was pretty good and much cheaper than filling up the car.

I had mentioned it over at my place, but I found a site called http://www.hulu.com/tv. It has a lot of old and new TV shows and movies. I've used it a couple of times when our cable has gone out and caught up on some TV shows I missed in a series.

    Hope you're having a good w/e.

  3. Hey guys!

IVG, I agree the short leg thing went on just a little too long, but the rest of it was pretty good.

FM, I think I remember you mentioning Hulu. I presume there are ads in the episodes?

Comments are welcome, and they don't have to be complimentary. I delete spam on sight, but that's pretty much it for moderation. Long off-topic rants or unconstructive flamage are also candidates for deletion but I haven’t seen any of that so far.

I have comment moderation on for posts over a week old, but that’s so I’ll see them.
